This mighty psionic entity is a product of merging two or more high templars [...], who decided to achieve this final level of commitment. The more templars participate, the stronger the Archon. Archon is about 3-4m tall and it has appearance of blue, swirling or burning spherical cloud with contours of hovering person inside. If it´s not fighting, the flames are weaker and it looks more like a burning person, but in the battle it burns up to full intensity. Archon is matterialized psionic strength and fury. It has very strong shield, that protects him against attacks, because the very physical essence is very fragile and vanish easily. Moreover, the shield interact with a discharge on any contact, that may throw the attacker back, or even hurt him. Archons have very limited lifespan in physical world - few weeks at the most. They are psychically instable and nothing less than a battle can sustain their attention. If they are not fighting, they lack the meaning of life, they suffer and their strength decreases and eventually, they decide to leave this reality. They can move quite quickly and hover few centimeters above the ground. They attack by psionic shockwave, massive energetic discharge, that may hit multiple enemies simultaneously and up to the range of 30m. The hit by the shocwave means instant death for most targets. If the Archon is killed, the wave of accumulated energy can devastate anything in radius of tens of meters. Archon is incredibly mighty unit and if it´s appeares in the battle, any kind of infantry - Zerg or Terran have no chance unless they can outnumber the Archon by hundreds and even then the Archon causes mass slaughter. The only way to deal with Archon is to destroy him from safe distance or by aerial strike. The power of Archon is redeemed by the sacrify of templars, that have been trained for decades. Therefore, the ritual is performed only in highest need. The templars are honoured in the annals of the Templar Archives.
