Freed from any previous allegiances or ideologies, these fearless men and women are ready to defend Terran interests with their lives. The marine isequipped with infantry armour CMC (300,400 or 400A) [...] Standard armament consist of 8mm C-14 „Impaler“ Gauss rifle [...] and ten magazines with 250 rounds each.Under the weapon can be mounted 40mm grenade launcher [...] able to fire fragmentation grenades A-10, which are secondary armament of marines.[2] Marine can carry twelve of them. Grenade can be thrown manually or fired from the lanucher. Aditional armament can consist of semi-automatic Magnum .45 gun, which is however substantially ineffective compared to the rifle. Ballistic alloy combat shields have also been developed in light of experiences during the Brood War, giving an option to toughen up marines faced with an increasingly lethal battlefield.
