The Terrans are masters of survival. Possessing neither the advanced technology of the Protoss nor the natural prowess of the Zerg, their military consists of a varied mix of units. From the effective, yet expendable, Marine conscripts to the highly trained Wraith pilots, the Terrans are a tenacious lot who are quite unwilling to concede their territory. Terran units can be divided into three groups : infantry, vehicles and air forces. Most of their units are able to withstand vacuum of space (except for civilians and Vultures). Terran armours are a combination of metals, heavy elements and minerals. Their power sources are usually fusion reactors [...]. Ships are propelled by thruster engines [...]. They use Vespene gas as a fuel, therefor they have limited flight range in atmosphere. Terran weapons [...] are mainly projectiles (bullets, grenades, missiles) that means they have limited amount of amunition, however some ships are equipped with laser batteries [...]. Terran scientists have also developed several advanced weapons using electro-magnetic field. One of the most advanced technologies is cloaking [...]. Terrans also use thermonuclear warheads [...] as a weapons of mass destruction. All larger ships are equipped with second generation warp engines [...], that enable travelling thousand times faster than light.
