Banshee is a cheap and robust gunship developed by Procyon industries. It´s designed to destroy groups of light armoured ground units. Against them it´s equipped with two rapid fire launchers and supplement of Backlash cluster rockets [...]. However it´s defenceless against air hostiles. Banshee has ship cloaking device [...], which enables it to safely snipe targets without detectors or overcome areas under enemy control. As a planetary craft, the banshee don't need high-powered engines to achieve escape velocity and fight in orbit, so instead technicians fitted it with economical twin turbofans (original design had only one) on sides. In recent years the banshee has gained a nasty reputation as a Dominion [...] terror weapon because it has been used more and more often in urban conflicts, where its indiscriminate attacks have killed countless non-combatants [1].
