Terran walker. Height cca 6m. Originally designed by LarsCorp Technologies for Kel-Morian combine [...]. It moves by two mechanical legs, that are heavily armoured, because the legs are the most vulnerable spot. Most of the melee attackers can´t reach the main hull and Goliath without a leg is immobile and defenceless. Goliath can move quite fast even in difficult terrain and is able to deal with up to 45° elevation. It can move in vacuum, but has no thrusters, so it can´t be used in zero gravity environment with exception for space platforms, where he can use his magnetical legs.Goliath carries one pilot who is equiped with light armour, helmet, oxigen mask, radio and C-17 rifle [...]. The Goliath hull has two refelctors , air filter, NBC protection, life support and digital HUD. The armament consists of two 20mm or 30mm autocannos [...] - weapons able to cut through infantry or even destroy smaller building. Secondary armament are Hellfire missiles [...] designed against aerial targets (However, can be used against ground targets as well, with limited effectivity). Goliath is equiped with two launchers and two packs of 20 missiles. The missiles are long ranged (25km), self sustained and with guidance system which makes them extremely accurate. To make targeting more effective, the main hull is connected to legs with rotary mount, so that the Goliath can walk and face in different directions. The Goliath can destroy building in seconds or shot enemy fighters from the sky, but it´s a bit ineffective against small and fast targets. The cannons are extremely destructive, if they hit, but group of zerglings [...] can always take the walker down.

Lightly modified version used by UED [...]. The difference is in the missile launchers. The G-12 has two launchers and two magazines. The G-13 has no magazines, meaning each missile has it´s own launcher. So that all missiles are ready to launch. The main advantage is no reload time and when needed, all missiles can be fired simultaneously. UED missiles are also equiped with Charon booster device, that increases the range.

Goliath design modified by Raynor´s group [...]. It has dual flamethrowers [...] mounted instead of autocannos so it´s far more effective against infantry and especially Zerg, but innefective against armoured targets an buildings. Hellfire missiles are replaced by Incinerator missiles [...]. They carry napalm warheads, have shorter range (10km) but much more devastating area effect. One single Hellmaker can unleash hell upon the Zerg base, but cooperation with other units is strongly advised because G-12HM is defenceless against aerial counterstrike or armoured enemies.
