Small three winged probe developed by Protoss as ideal espionage device. It´s propelled by gravitic booster. In the spherical nose there is wide range of sensor arrays, that give the Observer exellent detection abilities, but their energy consumption weakens the defensive potential. The Observer is able to detect cloaked or burrowed units. Observers designed for deep space exploration are equipped with warp engine [...]. Observers designed for tactical purposes are equipped with mirco-cloaking device [...], instead of the warp engine, so they are better protected from the enemy. As well as Dark templars [...] or Arbiters [...], even Observers can maintain their cloak for unlimited period of time.
